We know it can be overwhelming and confusing to make decisions about your health. Where do I go? Who do I see? Who does what? Here at Kindred Chiropractic we love to educate our community on what chiropractic is, so that you can make the best choices for your health and the health of your family. At Kindred Chiropractic, our number one objection is the function of your spine and nervous system .
What is the nervous system and why is it important?Your nervous system is your brain, spinal cord and nerves, and this vital system is protected by your spine. It is responsible for sending and receiving messages in your body and is dependent on movement and input from your spine. Your brain is the best doctor you could ask for, but it needs proper access and communication to everything in your body in order to heal and regenerate appropriately.
What is a subluxation?Checking the spine for vertebral subluxation is at the heart of everything we do at Kindred Chiropractic. A vertebral subluxation is a dysfunction within the spine and nervous system that can occur when we physically, chemically or emotionally overload our body. A chiropractor’s job is to correct these subluxations to allow your nervous system to communicate optimally.
Should I see a chiropractor? As we stated above, chiropractors do not treat any specific conditions, but people with vertebral subluxation sometimes also experience symptoms and some of the main reasons that people make an appointment with us is:
- Recent injury
- Old injury that doesn’t seem to be improving
- Vertigo and dizziness
- Sleep Difficulty
- Digestive upsets
- Lack of energy
- Poor quality of life, but all tests have come back normal.
